The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that this afternoon to evening parts of Jakarta have the potential to experience rain.

"Be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in parts of South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and West Jakarta in the late afternoon to night," stated BMKG's official site.

In the afternoon, light rain is expected in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta; and cloudy in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands.

At night, most areas will see rain with low intensity, except in South Jakarta which sees thunderstorm.

Entering dawn, all areas will be cloudy.

Today's temperature ranges from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius with air humidity around 70 to 100 percent.
